Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)
The Baraga County Community Foundation YAC is a committee of persons 12 to 21 years of age that represent the youth in our community by serving as strategists for positive change.

Youth Advisory Committee members learn:
- Leadership skills, training paid for by the BCCF.
- Tenacity skill levels, patience, and ability to successfully follow through with tasks.
- How to navigate the adult world of boards, committees, media, officials, and government to address needs in our community.
The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)
- surveys the needs of youth in the community,
- selects and recommends local programs to grant money to,
- creates community and human service projects,
- and learns how to actively lead in our community.
