The mission of the Baraga County Community Foundation is to enhance\u00a0the quality of life for the citizens of Baraga County, Michigan.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It shall serve as a resource developer, building permanent endowments and\u00a0providing services to donors, nonprofit organizations, and the community at large.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It shall serve as a steward, receiving, managing and distributing community\u00a0services and resources to donors, nonprofit organizations and the community at large.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It shall serve as a grant maker, providing direct financial support to targeted\u00a0programs that address immediate or emerging community needs.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It shall serve as a community resource, developing coalitions and mobilizing\u00a0community leaders and constituencies.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, the Foundation shall serve as a catalyst promoting and supporting\u00a0youth leadership, volunteerism and philanthropy.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
